We claim to have the lowest prices on the internet.

So does eveyone else. We have a price guarantee. Again, so do most people. In the whole of 2011 we didnt have to make a single refund even though we sold thousands of items. We check our competitors prices daily to save you having to.

All of our products are tried and tested.

Although we have a significant internet presence, we are mainly a bricks and mortar shop. Most of our sales are to customers who have seen and purchased goods from us in the shop. We only show part of our Ranges on the internet and only after our shop customers have voted for the range with their wallets. So you can buy on the internet goods that others have already seen and purchased.

We don't sell goods we haven't ordered yet.

We stock millions of pounds worth of goods in our warehouses in England with backup stocks in Ireland and the Far East. As I write this (January 2012) we have another 1 and a half million pounds worth of Furniture at sea arriving this month, as well as lorries from within the UK. We are ordering from factories now for delivery in 6 months time.

We use Feefo, a major independent feedback company to help us improve our services. Bearing in mind that customers are far more likely to complain than praise, to achieve a score of 94% is good - but we are still trying to improve.

We know our business.

We are still run by our founder who has been in the industry for 47 years. Our buyers average over 35 years experience and most of our sales staff have been selling Furniture for over 20 years.

We tell the truth.

We are in the business for the long term. We believe that telling customers something is solid oak when it isn't or real leather when it isn't, is unacceptable. As a company we have a simple ethos - we tell the truth. If we get it wrong, we say so. All employees know that we have a zero tolerance to lies.

We don't mislead.

We don't say how good our Furniture is and then hide away in the small print that customers may be expected to plane Drawers and doors to make them fit. We don't quote despatch dates and then say that delivery will occur up to 3 weeks from that date. The dates we quote are the dates goods will arrive in our warehouse (barring port closures or similar). Over 90% of our customers in England and Wales receive their goods within 7 days of this date. In Scotland and the Islands this is 14 days.
